We love running competitions for you guys and we want to be as clear as possible on how to participate and how the winner will be selected. Please read the nuts and bolts below for the full details.

By participating in our competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions:

  1. Participants and restrictions: We know that there are BEAR snacks lovers all around the world, but this Prize Draw is only open, subject to any other qualifications in these terms and conditions, to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), aged 18 years or over, with a valid email address, except for employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Prize Draw. Proof of age may be required.
  2. Competition Period: You can participate between 14:00 BST on 18/03/24 (start date) and 05.00 BST on 25/03/24 (closing date).
  3. How to participate: Participating in this Prize Draw is simple: Just complete our microsite data input via this link: growwithbearhamper.co.uk. Internet access required. Max. 1 entry per household.
  4. Prizes: 2 Prizes available for the Prize Draw in total as detailed hereafter:
    Prizes: One 1x Grow with BEAR Snacks hamper; including 1x Grow with BEAR seed packet, BEAR trowel, 4x packs of BEAR Yoyo multipacks. Max. 1 prize per person, per household.
  5. Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our Winner fairly and in accordance with the laws of chance, the Winner will be selected by using a verifiably random computer process on 26/03/24.
  6. Winner Notification: We will notify the Winner via the email address that they provided when completing the competition within five (5) working days of the Winner Selection. The lucky winner will need to respond to us within fourteen (14) days from the point of contact. If a winner doesn’t respond within the time given, we reserve the right to disqualify them and award the prize to another entrant.
  7. ‍Announcement of the Winner: We will notify and confirming the winner via contacting them directly via the email provided in the competition form. The Winner can object to their personal data being published or request for information being published to be reduced by emailing to dpr@bearnibbles.co.uk. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.

No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our competition properly, fairly (and legally!):

8. We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.bearsnacks.co.uk/privacy-policy and will only be used for the purposes of this competition save where you have opted in to receive communications from BEAR Snacks.

9. We can’t take any responsibility for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected, or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

10. Sorry, but you can’t transfer the prize to someone else or exchange it for a (cash) alternative, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative of equal or greater value. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold, gifted or auctioned. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified from participating.

11. We will not be liable for any failure to comply with our obligations or any delay in performing our obligations within these terms and conditions if an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

12. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the application process or operation of the website or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the Prize Draw. We may refuse to award a winner in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions. We will also have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the competition.

13. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.  

14. If someone or something tampers with this Prize Draw in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, or any other causes of failure outside of our control or the control of our agencies, the Promoter will not be responsible if the competition or the prize is not capable of running as planned or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.

15. Limitations of liability: Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter won’t assume any responsibility or liability for:

  • Any incorrect or inaccurate entries, or for any faulty, incorrect, errors or failed electronic data transmissions;
  • Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Prize Draw;
  • Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof.
  • Insofar as permitted by law, any injury or damage to entrant’s computers or to any other person’s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Prize Draw.

16. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.
